Easy, cheap fix for broken LG sidekick pedestal.
The LG sidekick washer pedestal has a common problem. The handle was made with plastic that can break easily and render the entire thing useless. in this video I show you how I fixed mine for about $6. I do recommend the steel reinforced epoxy instead of the plastic bond just because it's even stronger.

The $500-700 are usually plug-and-play. The cheaper ones need to be wired into the screen pin connector as well as power and ground. The cheaper alternative is to buy a monitor online for $20-50 and wire it in. The one I h...

Have no error codes but doesn't start, just cranks! Heard these sensors could also throw no codes and still prohibit injectors from firing.

Do the 99-04 Odysseys have this same plug and spring? I am getting p0300 p1399 p0302 p0304 p0306 but van is running good and would run like crap with my old coils even though they work so now im wondering if this is the issue too.

Thank you for a helpful video. Any ideas if the Smart Wash, Normal Wash, Delay Hours, and Cancel Drain buttons are all flashing? I feel like I have to press an ever-changing rocket launch sequence to either drain or continue, but it stops mid-cycle (more like 2 min into the cycle).

Great video. i was procrastinating on the cleaning , but this helped to get it started. The one piece that was not clear: does the washer go under the top spinner or above the filter? your video shows under the spinner , but not sure if this is correct?

The fact that you didn't show the process of removing the rear with the safety pins suggests that this part is very difficult. I took the whole thing apart (you can take the plastic off first BTW), completely stalled at that point and could do nothing but put it all back together again. Thumbs down.

You have your cylinder numbers wrong. The are 1,2,3 and the back of engine left to right and 4,5,6 left to right on the front. By front and back I'm referring to the back at the firewall and front closest to bumper..

Giving a thumbs up, but it would have been helpful to explain what you did between 6:00 and 6:10 to make the bottom sprayer fit. I finally figured it out. You do NOT push the part you turn by hand down into the hole. Just set it there, sitting on the top edge of the hole in the filter, then place the top/back pipe on it, and the bottom sprayer will fit right on.

I'm going through EXACTLY the same issues on my 2007 Honda Pilot right now! When i'm on the hwy & maintain rpms averaging 1500-1800 for more then 5sec my engine light starts to flash & i'm getting misfire issues. I live on top of a very high mountain & if i try to go up in D it starts to misfire. But if i switch to D3 no misfires. My mechanic replaced all my plugs w/iridiums & all 6 ignition coils roughly 2yrs ago but now the light keeps coming back on & my mechanics reader & Auto Zone reads misfires on #5 (middle front). So what is the exact name of these springs or part# please? I'm going to have these replaced once i get that info from you & i'll let you know the results. Thanks!

Thanks for the video! My daughter bought the sidekick 4 years ago. Her lid broke - I think the silver part has both ends on it still. The underside of the lid broke right under 1 of the pins so the latch doesn't latch. Crazy, right? $200 for the entire lid assembly?! I bought a new open box sidekick on craigslist for $200 (and 6 hours of round trip driving to get it... I just can't pay or have family pay $200 or even $100 on ebay for that part). We'll take the lid off this on, put it on hers. (I found your video when looking for the right way to take the lid off). And sell parts from the whole unit on ebay / keep it for spare parts for her?! Wondering how your fix has worked out after 4 - 5 months? And yeah, you mention - this IS a common problem? Weasels! I always wonder about whether to get an extended warranty : ) And the plastic weld... from your experience, that's different than the typical 2 part epoxy (gorilla, etc.)?
